Peregrines - Development Team

This weekend program bridges a gap between all mountain skiing skills and competition racing. Peregrines will take their all mountain skills to the next level by learning to be aggressive with terrain where confidence and control are the number one goals. The weekend program allows time for coaches to hone in on the technique of each individual athlete to maximize strengths and to identify and coach through weaknesses. Team members will be introduced to competition skiing through events in the Tahoe League race series.

Ages: 7 - 14 (aged 7 as of 12/31/12)
Height: 48" Minimum at time of registration

Skill Level: Applicant must be able to load and unload chair without assistance, ride lift without an adult, and must be able to ski intermediate trails (eg: Kit Carson) with poles, non-stop.

Program Includes:
- Unlimited Mt. Rose Season Pass
- Weekend training with coach (Sat. & Sun.) for program duration. (see calendar)
- Skills Challenge Series

- BONUS HOLIDAY CAMP Jan 3 & 4, snow & weather conditions permitting

Weekend Schedule (Sat. & Sun.)

9:00 – 11:30 On Mountain
11:30 – 12:30 Lunch (unsupervised)
12:30 – 3:00 On Mountain

Uniforms: $120 uniform required; will be available through NYSEF

Helmets: Required during training, competitions and when skiing in uniform (not included).
