First TimeR Package
With gentle wide-open slopes served by three dedicated beginner lifts, Mt. Rose—Ski Tahoe has some of Lake Tahoe’s best beginner terrain. Combined with our dedicated staff, teaching methods and “beginner specific” rental equipment – you’ll have a ton of fun and learn a great new sport all at the same time.

All-Day Beginner Lift Ticket (2 lifts only)
• All-Day Rental Equipment (ski or snowboard, equipment may be used all day)
• Lesson (90 minutes)

Get here early! It is strongly recommended to arrive by 8:30 for the 10:00 lesson.

The Mt. Rose Ski and Snowboard School is located on the lower level of the Main Lodge. You can purchase your package and be fitted with your rental equipment all in one-stop.

* 1st day is a First Timer class (above) at 10am, 12pm or 2pm. Days 2 and 3 are Rookie classes at 10am, 12pm or 2pm, unless otherwise specified by instructor. Sorry, no refunds for not participating in days 2 or 3. Flight plan is non-transferrable, over night storage is available.

Upgrade to All Mountain $62/day. To upgrade, students must purchase a full or half-day ticket. There is no dollar amount to apply towards this purchase. Good for consectutive days only.

5.5. Confidence and Practice

• In no time you will be making turns and exploring the mountain
